Instrumental Music Store Shut Down

Friday, January 28th, 2011

It was a real shame today when I took a trip down in to the town and saw that the local instrumental music shop is to be closing down in less than two weeks time. This shop was one of my earliest memories of the town as my Dad used to take me in there every weekend when I was a small child as he used to do a lot of business with them. I used to pick up the instruments and try to play them, badly of course. There have been so many shops in the town shut down because all business seems to be done over the internet these days and there is just not the custom on the high street anymore. This makes the place look very rundown with shops that have empty windows or are boarded up, hardly a sight to attract any potential new business.

How to Start Sharing Music

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

You can find a very good website in this blog post today. If you are looking at a few interesting websites that can help you to share music on Facebook, then you are very lucky. I saw this website on Google the other day and I thought you might find this very useful. What it does is that you are able to find many nice songs on this website. After you have found what you want, you can simply click and the songs will be uploaded onto your Facebook profile. How cool can that be?

I think it is a very nice to visit website. In fact, I use it almost every day to share my favourite songs. I’m pretty sure you will like this as well. I don’t think I can find another similar website. You should check it out now and start sharing your favourite songs. I have no problems at all.

Why Use a DVD?

Sunday, December 12th, 2010

If you’re thinking about learning the drums, why not do it from home? There are some great drum dvds and online lessons you can use to learn the drums, but why would you want to use DVDs instead of taking private instruction? Well if you’ve never come across a drumming system review or a review of any other course you may not be familiar with just how fantastic these online and DVD self study courses can be. Literally some instructors can duplicate private lessons that would span more then a year on video and charge you fraction of what it would cost to take those lessons privately. DVDs offer the flexibility to learn at home and at your own speed, which is something more private instructors don’t give you unless you want to waste their time and your money paying for lesson where you don’t progress. DVDs are just a better alternative especially for busy adults looking to learn something new.

The Ibanez Black Eagle Gains a Cult Following

Sunday, October 24th, 2010

Ibanez created the Black Eagle bass back in the mid seventies and this one of a kind bass guitar’s existence was short lived. Still a cult classic, the Black Eagle Ibanez is very popular these days for its unique looks and heavy tone, although because of the limited numbers originally created, the guitar is quite hard to find.

The Black Eagle is a very heavy guitar and that was the biggest complaint of smaller bass players. The weight, though, is where the Eagle got its enormous range of tones and made it a really great choice for bands with few other instruments and smaller drum kits.

If you’re looking for a Black Eagle, one thing to keep in mind is that the headstock was notorious for breaking because of the flawed design. Inspect thoroughly for damage or hidden repairs. You should also get the serial number cross referenced as there has been a problem with fakes being produced and sold as originals.

James Brown Marketing Services

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

You’re not necessarily going to get very far, if, say, you’re writing a bunch of articles up, and using those to post to blogs, sort of in this really tedious and manual way. But the thing is, you can prop up traffic this way, but this is no way to bring the sales in. If you want sales, you’re going to have to do a few things differently. For one, if you don’t have good tools, you can’t build good buildings, so to speak. And if you don’t think buying these tools outright is a good use of your limited resources, then you’re going to have to contract with a professional such as James Brown, who has these tools, who’s going to be able to get these things done for you. This is the real way business is done, from the small startups to the big enterprises; they all farm out a little bit of their marketing.

Ibanez Rg1550m — Why I Love Video Reviews

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

There are many things that crosses a person’s mind when they are shopping for a new guitar and it applies even after you’ve seen the beauty of the Ibanez RG1550M electric guitar. You want to know if it’s the very right one for you. How do you find out?

Read reviews from folks who have it or have played it. Reviews let you have an idea of what to expect when you get any particular product. They help you make a more informed decision. However, text based reviews are so limited especially when dealing with an instrument like the guitar with the bridge, fretboard, maple neck, tremolo and all sorts of stuff. A lot of opinions are so subjective they might actually lead you astray.

That’s why I prefer video reviews. They show you. You see it and you hear it in action. Even if the reviewer feels great about a sound, you might NOT and you’ll be able to decide for yourself because you can hear it right away. You draw your own conclusions and so it becomes quite difficult for you to make a poor decision with a video review.

Ibanez RG1570 Guitar — Watching Videos

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

The internet has actually made a lot of things a lot easier than they used to be, say, 10 years ago. I remember buying a speaker online only to be shocked at how different from what I thought it was. It was my error, though, that I neither had the right knowledge then to understand what those specs meant and I never bothered to ask someone who had superior knowledge — I just trusted the picture.

These days, such need NOT happen. If you are considering buying an electric guitar like the Ibanez RG1570, you definitely don’t have to just trust the picture. You can see and hear it play…

Many musicians and, sometimes, companies upload videos of their instruments online. I know of a site that offers both an indepth text review and either a video review in additon, or just a video showing a good guitarist playing it. This helps you draw your own conclusions better. And better conclusions mean you’d be spending your hard-earned cash more judiciously.
